With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nurettin Canbulat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The wind increased when Doğuş Tutuş made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Gaziantepspor got a freekick which was hit by İstemihan Cerme. Gaziantepspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğuş Tutuş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nurettin Canbulat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İsmail Baştuğs short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Nurettin Canbulat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nurettin Canbulat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Tutuş in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Doğuş Tutuş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaziantepspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doğuş Tutuş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Doğuş Tutuş came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gaziantepspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuş Tutuş couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Demiralp Ozan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If İsmail Baştuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Gaziantepspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Daday SK throughout the match.
