Hasan Ocakoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şentürk Kaymaz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, 1907's Bilge Kağan Tekcan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Mazhar Özak charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mazhar Özak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Eyüpspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazhar Özak to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, 1907's Bilge Kağan Tekcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şentürk Kaymaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of 1907 booed when Eyüpspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilal Bayazid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enver Pala hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Bilge Kağan Tekcan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şentürk Kaymaz having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gökçe Sadak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Gökçe Sadak rounded 1907's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. In the 56th minute of the match, Boğaç Oğuzbala got a very nice opportunity to score, but Özdemir Şahan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 57th minute, Gaffar İpek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1907 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Rafettin Şahdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafettin Şahdar struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Şentürk Kaymaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1907. Şentürk Kaymaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafettin Şahdar in the 62nd minute of play. When Hasan Ocakoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1907's protests and gave Hasan Ocakoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes 1907 got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Ocakoğlu. In the 74th minute of the match Songurbey Durucan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özdemir Şahan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Bilal Bayazid made a precise shot to the right of Özdemir Şahan. 1907's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 78 minutes into the match, 1907's goalkeeper Özdemir Şahan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boğaç Oğuzbala. Özdemir Şahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçe Sadak, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Rafettin Şahdar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şentürk Kaymaz having to interfere. Hasan Ocakoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şentürk Kaymaz having to interfere. In the 89th minute Gökçe Sadak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Şahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özdemir Şahan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boğaç Oğuzbala in the 91st minute. Boğaç Oğuzbala came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Özdemir Şahan could save by the left post. 97 minutes into the match, 1907's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçe Sadak came free, but Özdemir Şahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Eyüpspor echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as 1907 had held the ball for most of the match.
