Spectators: 6996 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fikret Hürkan got the match started through his kick off. Ferdi Cebir was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fikret Hürkan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alkın Dalokay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Hızır Uralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to AslanSpor getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zeynel Aslan hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Erdeniz Hayırlı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alkın Dalokay skillfully saved the ball. Alkın Dalokay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, AslanSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy came free, but Alkın Dalokay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hızır Uralp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Ferdi Cebir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kamer Ozansoy's late challenge caught a AslanSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kamer Ozansoy helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Ankaraspor got a freekick which was hit by Kamer Ozansoy. After a defensive mix-up in Ankaraspor's zone, Hızır Uralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdi Cebir came out of the goal and Hızır Uralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ankaraspor's Güngör Hitit got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Hızır Uralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alkın Dalokay saved AslanSpor from getting behind. With a little luck, Ankaraspor's Ferdi Cebir got control of the ball when Hızır Uralp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Fikret Hürkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. AslanSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Fikret Hürkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdi Cebir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fikret Hürkan in the 55th minute of play forced Ankaraspor's goalkeeper Ferdi Cebir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AslanSpor's Alkın Dalokay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save AslanSpor from getting a goal against them. Oğuzkan Hedef came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alkın Dalokay could save by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Ankaraspor's Oğuzkan Hedef sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alkın Dalokay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hızır Uralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdi Cebir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hızır Uralp in the 72nd minute of the match. Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alkın Dalokay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkın Dalokay having to interfere. Ankaraspor's Oğuzkan Hedef got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in AslanSpor's zone, Oğuzkan Hedef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkın Dalokay came out of the goal and Oğuzkan Hedef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ankaraspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Bilge Hürsoy couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AslanSpor had won after a very even match.
