Barlas Tuğalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in TsClub's zone, Şimşek Yeğrek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bayram Eğilmez came out of the goal and Şimşek Yeğrek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şimşek Yeğrek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Zeki Aydınoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Hatay's Mustafa Artuç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bayram Eğilmez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, TsClub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeki Aydınoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Bayram Eğilmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şimşek Yeğrek in the 36th minute of play. Mustafa Artuç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayram Eğilmez having to interfere. When Barlas Tuğalp came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the TsClub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barlas Tuğalp couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamdullah Sağcan to make the kick off. The supporters of Hatay booed when TsClub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Nafiz Beyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fevzi Bicanoğlu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Görkem Ergüvenç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamdullah Sağcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Görkem Ergüvenç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdullah Sağcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TsClub's Bayram Eğilmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Artuç in the 79th minute of play. Hamdullah Sağcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
