Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zülmeraspor's Esat Şükrü started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, one of Zülmeraspor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Zülmeraspor's Ahmet Ali Denizer got a free kick in the 21st minute. Vedat Kayral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dilmen Kayıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Müjdat Canaydin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ünal Azimoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Yıldırım Spor's Ünal Azimoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Egemen Baykal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dilmen Kayıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esat Şükrü in the 32nd minute of the match. Yıldırım Spor's Müjdat Canaydin got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Ali Orhan Tokyay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zülmeraspor and the Yıldırım Spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zülmeraspor's Ali Orhan Tokyay got a free kick in the 37th minute. Melik Çağnur was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes Yıldırım Spor got a freekick which was hit by Sabahattin Hüdayioğlu. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ünal Azimoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Dilmen Kayıhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esat Şükrü, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Zülmeraspor's Vedat Kayral got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Egemen Baykal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müjdat Canaydin in the 65th minute of play. Müjdat Canaydin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Arif Egemen Baykal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yıldırım Spor's Müjdat Canaydin in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zülmeraspor's goalie prevented a goal. Zülmeraspor's Edip Peker shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dilmen Kayıhan but with some difficulty. If Vedat Kayral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dilmen Kayıhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vedat Kayral in the 78th minute. Vedat Kayral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilmen Kayıhan having to interfere. Dilmen Kayıhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esat Şükrü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onur Ali Sarduç kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Günay Baykoca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zülmeraspor and the Yıldırım Spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ünal Azimoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yıldırım Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ünal Azimoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Egemen Baykal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute Esat Şükrü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilmen Kayıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zülmeraspor's Arif Egemen Baykal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müjdat Canaydin in the 95th minute of play.
