Müjdat Canaydin might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Burak Yetiş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 36 minutes of play, Yıldırım Spor's Ünal Azimoğlu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Burak Yetiş was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sivrihisar JK's Burak Yetiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünal Azimoğlu in the 40th minute of play. Burak Yetiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müjdat Canaydin in the 42nd minute of play. Ünal Azimoğlu took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Burak Yetiş. Burak Yetiş dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

Müjdat Canaydin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Burak Yetiş having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, Müjdat Canaydin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burak Yetiş. Sivrihisar JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Müjdat Canaydin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Gökçen Yergin charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökçen Yergin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Sivrihisar JK got a freekick which was hit by Gökçen Yergin. 75 minutes into the game, Yıldırım Spor's Ünal Azimoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burak Yetiş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Müjdat Canaydin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burak Yetiş having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Biçim in the 87th minute of play forced Yıldırım Spor's goalkeeper Dilmen Kayıhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivrihisar JK's Burak Yetiş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Sivrihisar JK from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Ünal Azimoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Burak Yetiş, 1-7. The Yıldırım Spor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
