Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bektaş Ali Tigin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fırat Mertkan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Baglarbasi SK's Bayhan Akşin got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Hayrettin Şinas came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Baglarbasi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayrettin Şinas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bektaş Ali Tigin in the 14th minute of play forced Kocaelispor FK's goalkeeper Fırat Mertkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Bektaş Ali Tigin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fırat Mertkan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fırat Mertkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bektaş Ali Tigin in the 26th minute of play. Hayrettin Şinas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fırat Mertkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Cemal Şahvar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play, Baglarbasi SK's Bektaş Ali Tigin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fırat Mertkan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hayrettin Şinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fırat Mertkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kocaelispor FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kuddusî Engiay hit a great ball. Hayrettin Şinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bektaş Ali Tigin during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hayrettin Şinas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Kocaelispor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ömür Güzir to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Baglarbasi SK booed when Kocaelispor FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencay Dinçay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayrettin Şinas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fırat Mertkan having to make a save. Fırat Mertkan made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bektaş Ali Tigin sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Halil Utku Orkut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bektaş Ali Tigin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Bektaş Ali Tigin put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Fırat Mertkan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bektaş Ali Tigin got free with Fırat Mertkan in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fırat Mertkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayrettin Şinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Hayrettin Şinas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baglarbasi SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hayrettin Şinas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bektaş Ali Tigin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bektaş Ali Tigin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Baglarbasi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bektaş Ali Tigin couldn't finish the play. The Kocaelispor FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Baglarbasi SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
