In the 2nd match minute, Umut Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hıncal Özgunay to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Nevele FK's İzzet Akyol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hüsnü Sungurtekin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genco Sungurbay in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alişan Sarıkaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Genco Sungurbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alişan Sarıkaya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. İzzet Akyol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Aktaç Ulukaan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nevele FK's Alişan Sarıkaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genco Sungurbay in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Hüseyin Canberk in the 23rd minute of play forced Nevele FK's goalkeeper Alişan Sarıkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Nevele FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hıncal Özgunay came free, but Alişan Sarıkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İzzet Akyol struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Hüsnü Sungurtekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nevele FK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aktaç Ulukaan got free with Hüsnü Sungurtekin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Hasan Hüseyin Canberk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Umut Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Tugay Hasret to maneuver through the defense. Nevele FK's Atalan Karlukhan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Umut Sk. Alişan Sarıkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hıncal Özgunay, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some careless play in the Nevele FK defense, Genco Sungurbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alişan Sarıkaya. The Nevele FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alişan Sarıkaya should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Hıncal Özgunay notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Nevele FK's Alişan Sarıkaya. Alişan Sarıkaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Umut Sk were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genco Sungurbay to make the kick off. A collision led to Nevele FK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sertaç Canal hit a great ball. Edip Yorangil, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. İzzet Akyol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsnü Sungurtekin having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Umut Sk got a freekick which was hit by Hıncal Özgunay. Nevele FK's İzzet Akyol got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Sertaç Canal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hıncal Özgunay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alişan Sarıkaya firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hıncal Özgunays short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Alişan Sarıkaya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alişan Sarıkaya was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Genco Sungurbay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Genco Sungurbay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Genco Sungurbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genco Sungurbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alişan Sarıkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute of the match Edip Yorangil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alişan Sarıkaya skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th minute, Hıncal Özgunay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umut Sk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Sertaç Canal struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hüsnü Sungurtekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nevele FK. The Umut Sk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Umut Sk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
