The referee ignored Malazgirt SK's protests and gave Mustafa Ali Ciner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Malazgirt SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Ali Ciner to maneuver through the defense. Necmi Tekinay didn't quite understand what happened when in the 39 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Malazgirt SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
