An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktaç Ulukaan in the 24th minute of play forced Boyabat's goalkeeper Baykal Tanyıldız to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baykal Tanyıldız took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İzzet Akyol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Nevele FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tarkan Esay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nurtekin Sufi's late challenge caught a Nevele FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sertaç Canal charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sertaç Canal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baykal Tanyıldız showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Ulukaan, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Tarkan Esay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alişan Sarıkaya, 1-1. Boyabat's Baykal Tanyıldız played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İzzet Akyol in the 91st minute of play. The Boyabat supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nevele FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Nevele FK.
