The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Behzat Özaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kutay Sarper charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kutay Sarper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Saimbeyli's Kutay Sarper got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Anıl Arda Türköne made a precise shot to the right of Orbay Cebe. Beşitaş JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hayrullah Orcan scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gökçe Vahdet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Özal Güleç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Orbay Cebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alphan Ahıska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orbay Cebe made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Anıl Arda Türköne sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Alphan Ahıska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçe Vahdet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orbay Cebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özal Güleç in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Utku Iğdırlı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beşitaş JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saimbeyli the free kick. The supporters of Saimbeyli booed when Beşitaş JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Utku Iğdırlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Sufi Çelenkoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orbay Cebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özal Güleç in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beşitaş JK's goalkeeper Orbay Cebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Behzat Özaltan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Sufi Çelenkoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beşitaş JK's protests and gave Sufi Çelenkoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Saimbeyli's Hurşit Ülmen tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Saimbeyli's Gökçe Vahdet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrullah Orcan in the 74th minute of play. Orbay Cebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Arda Türköne in the 85th minute of the match. Özal Güleç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Orbay Cebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özal Güleç in the 89th minute of play forced Beşitaş JK's goalkeeper Orbay Cebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 91st minute of the match Sufi Çelenkoğlu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sufi Çelenkoğlu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 92 played minutes Beşitaş JK got a freekick which was hit by Sufi Çelenkoğlu. Hurşit Ülmen, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Anıl Arda Türköne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orbay Cebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Saimbeyli failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
