Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mete Cintay made the kick off which started today's match. Mete Cintay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Halil Can Kura came out and tried to block the shot, but Mete Cintay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Umur Balkanlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Efe Baştürk having to interfere. Ahmet Efe Baştürk came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Lion.Fc.'s Umur Balkanlı. But to his dismay, Umur Balkanlı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Cankut Boratay came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Lion.Fc. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cankut Boratay couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Cankut Boratay put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Efe Baştürk. Cankut Boratay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ahmet Efe Baştürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, Lion.Fc.'s Cankut Boratay made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Efe Baştürk was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Umur Balkanlı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 43rd minute, Cankut Boratay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Halil Can Kura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Bedri Onuktekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mete Cintay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halil Can Kura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ali Gümüşcü in the 68th minute of the match. Ahmet Efe Baştürk made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Cankut Boratay sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Cintay in the 97th minute of play forced Lion.Fc.'s goalkeeper Halil Can Kura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lion.Fc.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
