A collision led to TOPALSPOR getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Erhan Koryürek hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Yeşiltepe SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceyhan Rical to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Ahmet Yahya Kubilay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencal Düden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Yeşiltepe SK's Gencal Düden threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Yahya Kubilay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. TOPALSPOR's Gencal Düden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Yahya Kubilay in the 24th minute of play. Ege Keçecioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aytuğ Arıbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Ege Keçecioğlu made a precise shot to the right of Aytuğ Arıbaş. Yeşiltepe SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ahmet Yahya Kubilay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencal Düden having to interfere. Ahmet Yahya Kubilays short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Gencal Düden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 37 played minutes Yeşiltepe SK got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Akbulut. Ahmet Yahya Kubilay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gencal Düden having to make a save. If Ertunç Seyran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Yahya Kubilay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencal Düden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Yaşar Akbulut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencal Düden having to interfere. Rüştü Aşık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencal Düden having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Yahya Kubilay made a kick off. After some careless play in the TOPALSPOR defense, Ahmet Yahya Kubilay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gencal Düden. The TOPALSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gencal Düden should have stopped the shot. Aytuğ Arıbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ege Keçecioğlu in the 58th minute of play. Hayati Yunus scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gencal Düden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rüştü Aşık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yeşiltepe SK's Yaşar Akbulut got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Yeşiltepe SK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Yaşar Akbulut hit a great ball. With a little luck, Yeşiltepe SK's Aytuğ Arıbaş got control of the ball when Tarkan Reyyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ahmet Yahya Kubilay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencal Düden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüştü Aşık in the 82nd minute of the match. Ahmet Yahya Kubilay took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gencal Düden. Gencal Düden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Yahya Kubilay in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gencal Düden saved TOPALSPOR from getting behind. When Yaşar Akbulut came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Yeşiltepe SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaşar Akbulut couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Yahya Kubilay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gencal Düden was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Ahmet Yahya Kubilay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencal Düden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Ahmet Yahya Kubilay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yeşiltepe SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
