Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Konyaalti's Emrah Kutlutekin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Konyaalti getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ataol Tanören hit a great ball. Aşkın Kökşin, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Veysel Uğural managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MALATYA FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veysel Uğural was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Ataol Tanören was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Konyaalti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MALATYA FK the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Konyaalti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataol Tanören to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Konyaalti's zone, Şeray Ağca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zülfikar Tümkan came out of the goal and Şeray Ağca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Konyaalti's goal looked a bit too open when Acar Behram came free, but Zülfikar Tümkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şeray Ağca's late challenge caught a Konyaalti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şeray Ağca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MALATYA FK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Şeray Ağca hit a great ball. A hard shot 16 in the game by Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin from a close distance when the talented Ali Baran Uğurhan managed to make a qualified save. MALATYA FK's players were relieved. After 17 minutes, Acar Behram mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MALATYA FK and the Konyaalti players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MALATYA FK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Acar Behram hit a great ball. With his leg Ali Baran Uğurhan managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Konyaalti's Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ali Baran Uğurhan made a huge save. Zülfikar Tümkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veysel Uğural, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Şeray Ağca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Bayındır Akel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MALATYA FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayındır Akel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konyaalti's Zülfikar Tümkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veysel Uğural in the 30th minute of play. Ataol Tanören struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ali Baran Uğurhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Konyaalti. Ali Baran Uğurhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrah Kutlutekin in the 40th minute of play. Emrah Kutlutekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the MALATYA FK defense, Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Baran Uğurhan. The MALATYA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Baran Uğurhan should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şeray Ağca was the one to do the kick off. MALATYA FK's Ali Baran Uğurhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrah Kutlutekin in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Baran Uğurhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 63rd minute Şimşek Orkutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Baran Uğurhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veysel Uğural came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zülfikar Tümkan could save by the left post. Emrah Kutlutekin took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Baran Uğurhan. Ali Baran Uğurhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ali Baran Uğurhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin scored 4-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Baran Uğurhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute of the match Melik Akıncıbeyoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Baran Uğurhan skillfully saved the ball. Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ali Baran Uğurhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MALATYA FK's Ali Baran Uğurhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin in the 92nd minute of play. Ali Baran Uğurhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emrah Kutlutekin's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Ali Baran Uğurhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Emrah Kutlutekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konyaalti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
