Hayyam Tokyüz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Edip Sakman having to make a save. Ümit Şahin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. bırsaspor's Selçuk Bilgehan got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Serik FK got a freekick which was hit by Utkan Övünç. Güner Karadağ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Turan Toycan made a huge save. Yavuz Selim Ongar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turan Toycan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hayyam Tokyüz in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Edip Sakman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hayyam Tokyüz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. bırsaspor's Hayyam Tokyüz got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hayyam Tokyüz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Çakır Temirhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serik FK's Mehmet Edip Sakman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selçuk Bilgehan in the 39th minute of play. Çakır Temirhan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Mehmet Edip Sakman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atahan İhtişam, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, bırsaspor's Birkan Başkurt got a free kick in the 56th minute. Hayyam Tokyüz struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mehmet Edip Sakman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for bırsaspor. After 65 minutes, Selçuk Bilgehan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bırsaspor and the Serik FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to bırsaspor getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Selçuk Bilgehan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Selim Ongar in the 67th minute of play forced bırsaspor's goalkeeper Turan Toycan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Atahan İhtişam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serik FK's Mehmet Edip Sakman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayyam Tokyüz in the 89th minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Serik FK's Yavuz Selim Ongar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turan Toycan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Serik FK were victorious despite being under pressure from bırsaspor for much of the match.
