In the 5th minute Erkut Türköz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolunay Vecihi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Yusufeli's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erkut Türköz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yusufeli's İzzet Sümre got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erkut Türköz succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Ejder Keramettin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İzzet Sümre's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 24 minutes, Yaşar Nuri Kaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciftlikköy and the Yusufeli players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkut Türköz in the 31st minute of play forced Yusufeli's goalkeeper Tolunay Vecihi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolunay Vecihi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkut Türköz in the 35th minute of play. İlkan Durdu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tolunay Vecihi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Ciftlikköy's İlkan Durdu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tolunay Vecihi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If İlkan Durdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İlkan Durdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

İlkan Durdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolunay Vecihi having to interfere. Yusufeli's Tolunay Vecihi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkut Türköz in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Haydar Özerol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciftlikköy and the Yusufeli players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ciftlikköy getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Haydar Özerol hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Erkut Türköz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolunay Vecihi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolunay Vecihi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlkan Durdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Vefa Tunç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ejder Keramettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciftlikköy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
