The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İhsan Sehhar was the one to do the kick off. Yusufeli's Vefa Tunç got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şükrü Kutbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İzzet Sümre in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Karahan's goal looked a bit too open when İzzet Sümre came free, but Şükrü Kutbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, İzzet Sümre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Vefa Tunç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şükrü Kutbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karahan's Emrullah Seçkiner got a free kick in the 99th minute. In the 101st minute of the match Özgün Canol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şükrü Kutbay skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yusufeli fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karahan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
