The audience was convinced that Baycan Üke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Işıkalp Onatkan was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Batu Esentürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baycan Üke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, one of Bakkalköy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Batu Esentürk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Ceyhan Keçeli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ordu's zone, Rüknettin Kartal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Işıkalp Onatkan came out of the goal and Rüknettin Kartal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baycan Üke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Baycan Üke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakkalköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baycan Üke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rüknettin Kartal came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bakkalköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rüknettin Kartal couldn't finish the play. Rıfkı Yöner hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Rüknettin Kartal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakkalköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rüknettin Kartal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bakkalköy's Baycan Üke got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
