Eğirdir SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bakkalköy the free kick. In the 8th minute, Göktuğ Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baycan Üke in the 14th minute of play forced Eğirdir SK's goalkeeper İsmet Akbulut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baycan Üke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmet Akbulut having to interfere. Sabri Orgen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmet Akbulut having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Bakkalköy's Baycan Üke made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İsmet Akbulut was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rüknettin Kartal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İsmet Akbulut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baycan Üke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rüknettin Kartal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Resul Özgener to make the kick off. Atahan Taluy hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Rüknettin Kartal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but İsmet Akbulut made a huge save. Baycan Üke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baycan Üke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. İsmet Akbulut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Bakkalköy's goal looked a bit too open when Resul Özgener came free, but Ahmet Ceyhan Keçeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Eğirdir SK got a freekick which was hit by Cihat İplikçi. Baycan Üke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Eğirdir SK's İsmet Akbulut got control of the ball when Rüknettin Kartal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eğirdir SK's Atahan Taluy got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Bakkalköy's Rüknettin Kartal got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İsmet Akbulut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rüknettin Kartal's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Fehmi Koryürek charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fehmi Koryürek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Bakkalköy got a freekick which was hit by Fehmi Koryürek. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Baycan Üke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bakkalköy's supporters rose to their feet, but Baycan Üke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İsmet Akbulut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bakkalköy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
