In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eğirdir SK's goalkeeper İsmet Akbulut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ahmet Rıfat Uçbeyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Ahmet Rıfat Uçbeyi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Eğirdir SK's İsmet Akbulut. İsmet Akbulut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. İsmet Akbulut didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Rıfat Uçbeyi went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. İsmet Akbulut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikail Günay's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. kaya Pekdeger kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Eğirdir SK's İhsan Evirgen in action when he in the 22nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 23 played minutes Caykara got a freekick which was hit by Başaran Erginer. When Ahmet Rıfat Uçbeyi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caykara's protests and gave Ahmet Rıfat Uçbeyi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Ahmet Rıfat Uçbeyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kahraman Akdal took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised İsmet Akbulut. İsmet Akbulut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 42 minutes into the match, Eğirdir SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mikail Günay came free, but İsmet Akbulut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vahit Bahçıvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Resul Özgener, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikail Günay was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Başaran Erginer in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İsmet Akbulut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özmen Hadim in the 59th minute of play forced Caykara's goalkeeper Vahit Bahçıvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eğirdir SK's İsmet Akbulut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Eğirdir SK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 65 minutes, Aykut Bozlak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caykara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aykut Bozlak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Özmen Hadim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vahit Bahçıvan having to make a save. If Resul Özgener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Rıfat Uçbeyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but İsmet Akbulut made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Rıfat Uçbeyi got free with İsmet Akbulut in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Resul Özgener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikail Günay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilla Kazak during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, one of Caykara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caykara. The referee gave Eğirdir SK a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by İhsan Evirgen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caykara's Vahit Bahçıvan. 1-4. Caykara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
