The supporters of RM FK booed when Giresun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurettin Geçim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aral Azimli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Giresun's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vedat Aktaş was slow to take the kick. During this time RM FK's players had a chance to rest. RM FK's Ali Vedat Ege was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zülfikar Bardakçıoğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zülfikar Bardakçıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aral Azimli in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RM FK fully deserved thier win.
