The Düzici JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasım Tecik should have stopped the shot. Güneri Aybar struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Kasım Tecik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taşspor. Afşar Suni got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yüce Ozansoy. When Vedat Nesefi came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Taşspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vedat Nesefi couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Abdurrahman Oskay made a precise shot to the right of Güray Gencay. Taşspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Taşspor's goalkeeper Güray Gencay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halil Can Usluer. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdurrahman Oskay to strike the kick off in the second half. Güray Gencay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdurrahman Oskay went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the game, Halil Can Usluer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Güray Gencay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Taşspor's Güneri Aybar got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Yüce Ozansoy in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Taşspor's Mirkelam İşçen. The supporters of Düzici JK booed when Taşspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirkelam İşçen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güray Gencay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdurrahman Oskay, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Vedat Nesefi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasım Tecik having to interfere. Güray Gencay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süruri Bayman in the 92nd minute of play.
