The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Korkut Tarhun during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Göztepe Sk booed when Akomspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korkut Tarhun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anıl Ege Makbul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Necdet Boran in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Akomspor's Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Volkan Eryiğit. Volkan Eryiğit yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Akomspor played a much better game than Göztepe Sk and deserved their victory. The Göztepe Sk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
