Baturhan Sağbilge shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Giray Ergenç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Osman Uçuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cemal İnanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Mehmet Osman Uçuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giray Ergenç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Osman Uçuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giray Ergenç in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Birsel Genişyürek got a free kick in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Cemal İnanoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mehmet Osman Uçuk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Trabzonspor's Mehmet Osman Uçuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cemal İnanoğlu in the 26th minute of play. The Midyat fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Midyat's Giray Ergenç looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Giray Ergenç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Basri Egelioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Şehzade İzci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Arif Ensar Tunçtürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cemal İnanoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cemal İnanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trabzonspor's Mehmet Osman Uçuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giray Ergenç in the 48th minute of play.

Cemal İnanoğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Mehmet Osman Uçuk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cemal İnanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mehmet Osman Uçuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cüneyd Adsoy charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cüneyd Adsoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sait Tanırer during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Midyat's Sait Tanırer got a free kick in the 64th minute. Mehmet Osman Uçuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giray Ergenç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cemal İnanoğlu got free with Mehmet Osman Uçuk in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cemal İnanoğlu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mehmet Osman Uçuk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Giray Ergenç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mehmet Osman Uçuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cemal İnanoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Osman Uçuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cemal İnanoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Midyat left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trabzonspor.
