Hüsamettin Esay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rauf Özakan in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Giray Ergenç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reis Akkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reis Akkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giray Ergenç, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Ali Emir Kayıboylu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artvinspor's Reis Akkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sait Tanırer in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Zülfü Saik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artvinspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Zülfü Saik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüsamettin Esay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serhat Satıbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hüsamettin Esay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Midyat getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rasim Ergök hit a great ball. Reis Akkurt stood somewhat misplaced when Giray Ergenç came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 36 minute. In the 42nd minute, Zülfü Saik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Artvinspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Midyat's Hüsamettin Esay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Midyat from getting a goal against them. Cemal İnanoğlu took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reis Akkurt. Reis Akkurt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. When Artvinspor's Gürkan Seylab in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Midyat's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hüsamettin Esay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Midyat's goalkeeper Hüsamettin Esay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürkan Seylab. Reis Akkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giray Ergenç, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes, Midyat's Baturhan Sağbilge shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reis Akkurt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Midyat reached it. Gürkan Seylab struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hüsamettin Esay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artvinspor. The audience was convinced that Serhat Satıbey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hüsamettin Esay was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Midyat succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Artvinspor had controlled the match.
