The referee showed Abdulmelik Sayyad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdulmelik Sayyad hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Yildizeli FK got a freekick which was hit by Cezmi Başat. 22 minutes into the match, Yildizeli FK's goalkeeper Yetkiner Sadi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolga Işık. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Yetkiner Sadi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 27 minutes into the match, Fatih Kadir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yetkiner Sadi. Yildizeli FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fatih Kadir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Fazıl Özender came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Yesilyurt FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fazıl Özender couldn't finish the play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Hasan Ali Siyami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yildizeli FK's Yetkiner Sadi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yildizeli FK's Yetkiner Sadi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Yildizeli FK from getting a goal against them. After 35 minutes, Tayyar Ragıp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yildizeli FK and the Yesilyurt FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Yildizeli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayyar Ragıp to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Cezmi Başat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Oğuz Adsoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Yildizeli FK booed when Yesilyurt FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Atıf Hisarcık didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Asım Arif Demirağ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yetkiner Sadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fatih Kadir in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hüsmen Akyüz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tayyar Ragıp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 minutes of play, Yesilyurt FK's Fatih Kadir made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yetkiner Sadi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute Hüsmen Akyüz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Oğuz Adsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezmi Başat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mehmet Oğuz Adsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Yesilyurt FK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fatih Kadir hit a great ball. Mehmet Oğuz Adsoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezmi Başat in the 68th minute. After 71 played minutes Yesilyurt FK got a freekick which was hit by Tolga Işık. Şensoy Üzer hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes, Yesilyurt FK's Ali Atıf Hisarcık shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yetkiner Sadi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yesilyurt FK reached it. Yetkiner Sadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asım Arif Demirağ in the 76th minute of play. Hasan Ali Siyami hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Yesilyurt FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Hüsmen Akyüz scored to the left of an out of position Mehmet Oğuz Adsoy, making the score, 3-2. Mehmet Oğuz Adsoy made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cezmi Başat sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Özer Akburç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yildizeli FK's Yetkiner Sadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Ali Siyami in the 92nd minute of play. Yildizeli FK's Tayyar Ragıp got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Tayyar Ragıp off the ground. In the 95th minute, Tayyar Ragıp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yesilyurt FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
