Kurtuluş Uygur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Güney İlighan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan made a huge save. Emran Ilıcak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korkut Beycan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Korkut Beycan scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emran Ilıcak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Güney İlighan sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the game, Güney İlighan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan. Güney İlighan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Güney İlighan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, HerpesVirus's Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan got control of the ball when Güney İlighan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, HerpesVirus's goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Kuvvet came free, but Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HerpesVirus's Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save HerpesVirus from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Güney İlighan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerede SK's Güney İlighan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan. That made the score 2-1 after 36 minutes of play. Güney İlighan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güngör Laçin to make the kick off. Güney İlighan took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan. Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güney İlighan in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Yalçın Nurkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korkutalp Yağmurdereli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Gerede SK's goal looked a bit too open when Dündar Uluşahin came free, but Emran Ilıcak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, HerpesVirus's goal looked a bit too open when Güney İlighan came free, but Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Güney İlighan in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 76th minute Kurtuluş Uygur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güngör Laçin in the 77th minute of play forced Gerede SK's goalkeeper Emran Ilıcak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Güney İlighan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Korkut Beycan fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HerpesVirus's protests and gave Korkut Beycan a yellow card for diving instead. Korkut Beycan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, HerpesVirus's goal looked a bit too open when Kasım Kızılateş came free, but Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in HerpesVirus's zone, Kurtuluş Uygur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan came out of the goal and Kurtuluş Uygur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Korkut Beycan took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emran Ilıcak. Emran Ilıcak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gerede SK fully deserved thier win.
