With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hatemi Lebib in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan saved HerpesVirus from getting behind. Güngör Laçin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Uğurcan Selahaddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Korkut Beycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to HerpesVirus getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Furkan Halıcı hit a great ball. Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasim Yağızalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Rasim Yağızalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Emre Oğuzhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güngör Laçin was the one to do the kick off.
