The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Turan İkram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the game, Ahmet Turan İkram cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fuat Özsahin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nusrettin Akmeşe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nusrettin Akmeşe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfi Akpınar in the 13th minute of play forced Eynesil SK's goalkeeper Fuat Özsahin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, ANKARA SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nusrettin Akmeşe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 17th match minute, ANKARA SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Ensar Dahi to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Enver Mengüalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nusrettin Akmeşe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafettin Baykurt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Nusrettin Akmeşe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafettin Baykurt, 1-1. The supporters of ANKARA SK booed when Eynesil SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulvahit Beşer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eynesil SK's Fuat Özsahin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyfi Akpınar in the 32nd minute of play. Seyfi Akpınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fuat Özsahin having to interfere. Ahmet Turan İkram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Ahmet Turan İkram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fuat Özsahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Nusrettin Akmeşe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eynesil SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nusrettin Akmeşe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafettin Baykurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nusrettin Akmeşe made a kick off. Rafettin Baykurt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enver Mengüalp went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Rafettin Baykurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusrettin Akmeşe in the 59th minute of play. Enver Mengüalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ahmet Turan İkram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd match minute, ANKARA SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birsel Oktar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enver Mengüalp in the 79th minute of play forced ANKARA SK's goalkeeper Rafettin Baykurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Turan İkram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enver Mengüalp scored 4-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafettin Baykurt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nusrettin Akmeşe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eynesil SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
