The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Giresunspor booed when Redwood MC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykutalp Helvacıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Redwood MC's goal looked a bit too open when Balamir Terzi came free, but Münir Akçal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pars Canıtez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giresunspor's Mesut Şerefhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pars Canıtez in the 15th minute of play. Pars Canıtez struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Mesut Şerefhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redwood MC. 28 minutes into the match, Giresunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Pars Canıtez came free, but Mesut Şerefhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mesut Şerefhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pars Canıtez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naim Sinan in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mesut Şerefhan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pars Canıtez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Münir Akçal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fetih Uçbeyi in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pars Canıtez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Giresunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Pars Canıtez came free, but Mesut Şerefhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pars Canıtez in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mesut Şerefhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mesut Şerefhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pars Canıtez went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pars Canıtez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mesut Şerefhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Pars Canıtez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mesut Şerefhan. Giresunspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pars Canıtez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Selami Çağa charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Selami Çağa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Naim Sinan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Giresunspor's zone, Pars Canıtez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mesut Şerefhan came out of the goal and Pars Canıtez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, Redwood MC's Pars Canıtez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mesut Şerefhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 88 minutes into the game, Çelikan Hızlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redwood MC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giresunspor the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Redwood MC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Giresunspor a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yenal Uçanay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Redwood MC's Münir Akçal. 3-1. Naim Sinan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mesut Şerefhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naim Sinan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mesut Şerefhan having to make a save. Mesut Şerefhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pars Canıtez in the 99th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Redwood MC had played much better football throughout.
