The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Efekan Özel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolgahan Çetinalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragos FK's Efekan Özel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Dragos FK from getting a goal against them. Aytaç User fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efekan Özel having to interfere. Ahmet Hakan Sidar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kutlu İmran, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Dilaver Semi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Efekan Özel to make any attempt to save it. If Tolgahan Çetinalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolgahan Çetinalp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Efekan Özel. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, EDİRNESPOR's Aytaç User sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efekan Özel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the EDİRNESPOR defense, Veli Akay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Hakan Sidar. The EDİRNESPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Hakan Sidar should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Tolgahan Çetinalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efekan Özel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Veli Akay to make the kick off. Arda Göksel Sururi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Tolgahan Çetinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EDİRNESPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolgahan Çetinalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Dragos FK defense, Dilaver Semi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efekan Özel. The Dragos FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efekan Özel should have stopped the shot. Efekan Özel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolgahan Çetinalp in the 62nd minute of the match. Doğuhan Tümay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Hakan Sidar having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doğuhan Tümay got free with Ahmet Hakan Sidar in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 played minutes Dragos FK got a freekick which was hit by Doğuhan Tümay. 77 minutes into the match, Aytaç User had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efekan Özel. Dragos FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aytaç User was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Dragos FK's goal looked a bit too open when Aytaç User came free, but Efekan Özel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Cengiz Özmert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efekan Özel having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Kutlu İmran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aytaç User sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolgahan Çetinalp scored 5-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efekan Özel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. EDİRNESPOR had played much better football throughout.
