The Ego SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Aytaç User sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 12 minutes on the clock, Atilla Tarkan Yanık commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EDİRNESPOR! Yenal Tanay shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ahmet Hakan Sidar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yücel Kuluk in the 16th minute of the match. Ahmet Hakan Sidar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şaban Taybars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Ego SK's goalkeeper Nuratay Uçhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Cengiz Özmert. Aytaç User received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nuratay Uçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Hakan Sidar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uğur Alişan in the 23rd minute of play. Ego SK's Nuratay Uçhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ego SK from getting a goal against them. Aytaç User could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Nuratay Uçhan made a huge save. EDİRNESPOR's Ahmet Hakan Sidar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duran Tecelli in the 29th minute of play. Ahmet Hakan Sidar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duran Tecelli in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Yücel Kuluk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hakan Sidar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Ego SK got a freekick which was hit by Yenal Tanay. Ahmet Hakan Sidar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yücel Kuluk went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute Aytaç User shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuratay Uçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ego SK's Duran Tecelli got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Aytaç User kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Nuratay Uçhan made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Aytaç User sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolgahan Çetinalp to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ego SK's zone, Aytaç User stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuratay Uçhan came out of the goal and Aytaç User tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aytaç User fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuratay Uçhan having to interfere. Aytaç User blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuratay Uçhan having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Tolgahan Çetinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. EDİRNESPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolgahan Çetinalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuratay Uçhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aytaç User had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Cengiz Özmert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuratay Uçhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 73 played minutes EDİRNESPOR got a freekick which was hit by Dilaver Semi. Mustafa Anıl Tayman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuratay Uçhan having to make a save. When Mustafa Anıl Tayman came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the EDİRNESPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Anıl Tayman couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, EDİRNESPOR's Dilaver Semi got a free kick in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the game, Uğur Alişan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ego SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EDİRNESPOR the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Ego SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğur Alişan to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute İldeniz Taci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuratay Uçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aytaç User in the 90th minute of play forced Ego SK's goalkeeper Nuratay Uçhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolgahan Çetinalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nuratay Uçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The EDİRNESPOR manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ego SK to win.
