Uğuralp Atasagun charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uğuralp Atasagun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emir Nuralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güvenç Yildıran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu in the 8th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Çetin Yasık mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basciftlik and the SELEFKOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Basciftlik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çetin Yasık to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, SELEFKOS's Enis Behiç Samih nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güvenç Yildıran having to interfere. Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Güralp Attaroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Uğuralp Atasagun kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Basciftlik's Şeray Keykavus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Güvenç Yildıran in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Emir Nuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, SELEFKOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökberk Kanat to maneuver through the defense. Güvenç Yildıran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir Nuralp in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes SELEFKOS got a freekick which was hit by Uğuralp Atasagun. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bora Canalp during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emir Nuralp made a kick off. Enis Behiç Samih blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, SELEFKOS's goal looked a bit too open when Emir Nuralp came free, but Güvenç Yildıran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emir Nuralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enis Behiç Samih blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay having to make a save. Güvenç Yildıran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir Nuralp in the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Basciftlik defense, Ali Güralp Attaroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay. The Basciftlik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay should have stopped the shot. Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SELEFKOS's Gökberk Kanat got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, SELEFKOS's goalkeeper Güvenç Yildıran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu. The supporters of SELEFKOS booed when Basciftlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Türkeş Hasankeyf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Basciftlik's zone, Enis Behiç Samih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay came out of the goal and Enis Behiç Samih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Basciftlik getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Türkeş Hasankeyf hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Ali Güralp Attaroğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SELEFKOS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
