Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mümtazer İlhanoğlu started the match with the kick off. Suphi Kaptan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Sati having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mümtazer İlhanoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tayyip Demirtekin was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İsmet Babayiğit during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gokturkspor booed when Başkent Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmet Babayiğit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suphi Kaptan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Birol Sati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Alptuğ Kılıçaslan charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alptuğ Kılıçaslan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Başkent Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alptuğ Kılıçaslan to maneuver through the defense. Suphi Kaptan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mustafa Birol Sati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birsel Birsan kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. İsmet Babayiğit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Suphi Kaptan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gokturkspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Suphi Kaptan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdulhamit Ciray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Başkent Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Suphi Kaptan came free, but Mustafa Birol Sati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Başkent Futbol getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alptuğ Kılıçaslan hit a great ball. Suphi Kaptan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mustafa Birol Sati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Birol Sati came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Gokturkspor's Suphi Kaptan. But to his dismay, Suphi Kaptan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 44th minute, Abdulhamit Ciray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gokturkspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Suphi Kaptan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Başkent Futbol's Mustafa Birol Sati proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Başkent Futbol from getting a goal against them. Abdulhamit Ciray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Birol Sati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suphi Kaptan in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, İsmet Babayiğit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Başkent Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmet Babayiğit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayyip Demirtekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the game, Abdulhamit Ciray recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustafa Birol Sati. Abdulhamit Ciray showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 79 minutes of play, Gokturkspor's Abdulhamit Ciray made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Birol Sati was left in no man's land by his defense there! Suphi Kaptan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Mustafa Birol Sati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gokturkspor. 91 minutes into the match, Gokturkspor's Suphi Kaptan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Birol Sati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Başkent Futbol's zone, Abdulhamit Ciray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Birol Sati came out of the goal and Abdulhamit Ciray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdulhamit Ciray was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Gokturkspor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
