In the 21st minute, Gökhan Kutsel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KZE Lameker SK's Ulvi Onuk didn't even have to move. İsmet Babayiğit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KZE Lameker SK's zone, Alptuğ Kılıçaslan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulvi Onuk came out of the goal and Alptuğ Kılıçaslan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes KZE Lameker SK got a freekick which was hit by Yağız Sungurtekin. In the 40th minute, Mümtazer İlhanoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mümtazer İlhanoğlu made a kick off. Ulvi Onuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümtazer İlhanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Fikri Erbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. KZE Lameker SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fikri Erbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İsmet Babayiğit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, İsmet Babayiğit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Başkent Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but İsmet Babayiğit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ömer Çağakan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Mustafa Birol Sati made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mümtazer İlhanoğlu in the 82nd minute of play forced KZE Lameker SK's goalkeeper Ulvi Onuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, İsmet Babayiğit managed to get in a good position for a shot.
