The audience was convinced that Seyfi Kıncal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oğuz Ulukut was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Oğuz Ulukut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazil Balcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Gencay Özkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gencay Özkar in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kuzey Candemir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Seyfi Kıncal struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Oğuz Ulukut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenibosna. Oğuz Ulukut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyfi Kıncal in the 27th minute of the match. Gencay Özkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ramiz Korcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencay Özkar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 48th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Yenibosna's goal looked a bit too open when Gencay Özkar came free, but Kuzey Candemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seyfi Kıncal charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seyfi Kıncal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Seyfi Kıncal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seyfi Kıncal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nazil Balcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Oğuz Ulukut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Nazil Balcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenibosna's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazil Balcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oğuz Ulukut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Seyfi Kıncal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nazil Balcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Yusuf Ziya Ülküsel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esentepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenibosna the free kick.
