Spectators: 7207 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Devrek's kaya Esay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Arif Egemen Beysun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Şeref Sayısı's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Devrek the free kick. After a rather tough play, Şeref Sayısı's Arif Egemen Beysun got a free kick in the 5th minute. Poyraz Uzay kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling kaya Esay in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abidin Salahaddin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yaman Arıkhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nuratay Hadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Şeref Sayısı defense, kaya Esay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abidin Salahaddin. The Şeref Sayısı fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abidin Salahaddin should have stopped the shot. After 23 minutes, Yıldıray Kutlughan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devrek and the Şeref Sayısı players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Devrek's Yıldıray Kutlughan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Arif Egemen Beysun didn't quite understand what happened when in the 25 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Bülent Atlıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Abidin Salahaddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Devrek's goal looked a bit too open when Uğuralp Oğuzata came free, but Nuratay Hadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Devrek's Hayati Sezen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Bülent Atlıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, kaya Esay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abidin Salahaddin. Şeref Sayısı's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that kaya Esay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bülent Atlıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abidin Salahaddin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, kaya Esay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devrek's supporters rose to their feet, but kaya Esay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abidin Salahaddin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Devrek's Bülent Atlıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Bülent Atlıoğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Abidin Salahaddin however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uğuralp Oğuzata in the 61st minute of play forced Devrek's goalkeeper Nuratay Hadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abidin Salahaddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from kaya Esay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Şeref Sayısı's Ragıp Akarslan got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Bülent Atlıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şeref Sayısı's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when kaya Esay scored to the left of an out of position Abidin Salahaddin, making the score, 0-3. Nuratay Hadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaman Arıkhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Devrek played a much better game than Şeref Sayısı and deserved their victory. The Şeref Sayısı players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
