After having played for 22 minutes, Uğur Adıgüzel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Refahiye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uğur Adıgüzel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uğur Adıgüzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vehdi Taluy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vehdi Taluy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdullatif Akyel's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alptuğ Talip hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Anıl Berk Ongay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anıl Berk Ongay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uğur Adıgüzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Vehdi Taluy made a huge save. Çetin Yadigar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arif Tugay Nejat. Refahiye's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abdullatif Akyel succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Uğur Adıgüzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vehdi Taluy having to interfere. In the 67th minute Abdullatif Akyel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vehdi Taluy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Refahiye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Börteçine SK the free kick. The supporters of Börteçine SK booed when Refahiye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğur Adıgüzel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
