When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Halim Özgurel took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Çakır Mümin to make any attempt to save it. Evren Harmandalı kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Abidin Ekincioğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Çakır Mümin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Hasandede S.K's Abdulmelik Akarsu got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Hasandede S.K's Çakır Mümin got control of the ball when Abidin Ekincioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Maltepespor SK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mehmet Çağrı Başdaş hit a great ball. Halim Özgurel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çakır Mümin having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Evren Harmandalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evren Harmandalı to strike the kick off in the second half. Hasandede S.K's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. If Abidin Ekincioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Maltepespor SK's Cevdet Bektaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Çakır Mümin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abidin Ekincioğlu in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çakır Mümin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abidin Ekincioğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çakır Mümin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abidin Ekincioğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Abidin Ekincioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Maltepespor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abidin Ekincioğlu couldn't finish the play. If Halim Özgurel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Abidin Ekincioğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Çakır Mümin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abidin Ekincioğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cevdet Bektaş came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Maltepespor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevdet Bektaş couldn't finish the play. Maltepespor SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
