Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Osman Durali took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hidayet Yaldırak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şeref Kazan having to interfere. Osman Durali hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ankara Gücü's Şeref Kazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necip Rezzak in the 6th minute of play. Şeref Kazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytekin Serafet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Osman Durali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankara Gücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osman Durali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Sungurlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yüksel Hayırlı to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, one of Ankara Gücü:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 17 minutes Ankara Gücü's goalkeeper Şeref Kazan managed, with a little bit of luck, save Mücahit Aras's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 17 minutes into the game, Sungurlu's Mücahit Aras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şeref Kazan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Ankara Gücü's goalkeeper Şeref Kazan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hidayet Yaldırak. Ankara Gücü were furious when Abdi Saygın Uzalp was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ankara Gücü fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 27th minute Hidayet Yaldırak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şeref Kazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şeref Kazan made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Hidayet Yaldırak sent off a good shot on target. Ankara Gücü's 江强远 got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yüksel Hayırlı during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ankara Gücü booed when Sungurlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yüksel Hayırlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Fadıl Durkaya made the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Petri hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Osman Durali fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ankara Gücü's goalkeeper Şeref Kazan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ömer Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osman Durali in the 62nd minute of the match. Bekir Ongu was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 64th match minute, Sungurlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bekir Ongu to maneuver through the defense. When Poyraz Koçaslan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ankara Gücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Poyraz Koçaslan couldn't finish the play. If Poyraz Koçaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ömer Tan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Poyraz Koçaslan went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Oğuzer Serkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ömer Tan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poyraz Koçaslan in the 76th minute of play. Sungurlu's Ömer Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuzer Serkan in the 82nd minute of play. Osman Durali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ömer Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Poyraz Koçaslan came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ankara Gücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Poyraz Koçaslan couldn't finish the play. Many of Ankara Gücü's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ankara Gücü may have spent more time on the ball, but Sungurlu were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
