The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ardahan Altıncığlu during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erdinç Cangun scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tansel Aurelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of SUMBAS FK booed when Nisantasi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Baybars Piruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Erdinç Cangun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tansel Aurelio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Abdullatif Bedih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kudret Tanaltan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes SUMBAS FK got a freekick which was hit by Ercüment Polathan. Nisantasi JK's Cenan Kocaalp got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Nisantasi JK defense, Erdinç Cangun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tansel Aurelio. The Nisantasi JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tansel Aurelio should have stopped the shot. Ata Onkal's late challenge caught a SUMBAS FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ata Onkal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nisantasi JK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ata Onkal hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Songur Cinel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUMBAS FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Songur Cinel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tansel Aurelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercüment Polathan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Giray Akkurt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tansel Aurelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ercüment Polathan to make the kick off. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The crowd rose to their feet as Erdinç Cangun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tansel Aurelio. That made the score 0-6 in the 99 minute of play. The Nisantasi JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SUMBAS FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
