Spectators: 5857 (Terracing: 4011, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) SUMBAS FK's Ercüment Polathan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Ercüment Polathan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRABZONSPOR's Sufi Uyarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kudret Tanaltan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyrani Suphi in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercüment Polathan in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sufi Uyarel saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. In the 9th minute of the match, Ercüment Polathan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sufi Uyarel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 11 minutes into the game, Seyrani Suphi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kudret Tanaltan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Sufi Uyarel managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when SUMBAS FK's Ercüment Polathan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute Sadri Karabey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kudret Tanaltan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to TRABZONSPOR getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sadri Karabey hit a great ball. Sufi Uyarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdinç Cangun in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, TRABZONSPOR's Seyrani Suphi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kudret Tanaltan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Erdinç Cangun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sufi Uyarel. The goal made the score 2-2. With a little luck, TRABZONSPOR's Sufi Uyarel got control of the ball when Ercüment Polathan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Erdinç Cangun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kudret Tanaltan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selman Reyyan in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sadri Karabey to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercüment Polathan in the 52nd minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Sufi Uyarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SUMBAS FK's Kudret Tanaltan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save SUMBAS FK from getting a goal against them. Kudret Tanaltan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sadri Karabey in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Erdinç Cangun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sufi Uyarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Sufi Uyarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercüment Polathan, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sufi Uyarel came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by SUMBAS FK's Erdinç Cangun. But to his dismay, Erdinç Cangun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 69 minutes into the match, SUMBAS FK's goalkeeper Kudret Tanaltan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyrani Suphi. 72 minutes into the match, SUMBAS FK's goalkeeper Kudret Tanaltan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyrani Suphi. Sufi Uyarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ercüment Polathan's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Erdinç Cangun notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of TRABZONSPOR's Sufi Uyarel. Sufi Uyarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kudret Tanaltan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melih Cevdet Aktaşlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ercüment Polathan in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sufi Uyarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sezen Haspolatlı's late challenge caught a SUMBAS FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sezen Haspolatlı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, TRABZONSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sezen Haspolatlı to maneuver through the defense. Seyrani Suphi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. SUMBAS FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
