After having played for 3 minutes, Şadi Serafet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Askale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şadi Serafet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anıl Ozan Yuvakuran hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a little luck, İSTANBUL MECİDİYEKÖY FK's İlhami Akar got control of the ball when Ömer Oytun tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Askale's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Alp Artan came free, but Tacettin Nuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ömer Oytun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İSTANBUL MECİDİYEKÖY FK's İlhami Akar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Taylak in the 20th minute of play. Askale's Tacettin Nuralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Ali Erel in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Askale's Reis Öğün got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes, İSTANBUL MECİDİYEKÖY FK's İlmi Erüstün shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tacettin Nuralp came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in İSTANBUL MECİDİYEKÖY FK reached it. Şadi Serafet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. İlhami Akar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ömer Oytun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. A wasted opportunity for Askale. 44 minutes into the match, Askale's Şadi Serafet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İlhami Akar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Şadi Serafet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of İlhami Akar. Şadi Serafet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ömer Oytun to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in İSTANBUL MECİDİYEKÖY FK's zone, Ömer Oytun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İlhami Akar came out of the goal and Ömer Oytun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Şadi Serafet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Cenk Kirtekin in the 70th minute of play forced İSTANBUL MECİDİYEKÖY FK's goalkeeper İlhami Akar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İlhami Akar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şadi Serafet in the 73rd minute of play. When Turabi Oylum fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İSTANBUL MECİDİYEKÖY FK's protests and gave Turabi Oylum a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Şadi Serafet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İlhami Akar was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. İlhami Akar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şadi Serafet went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After 89 played minutes İSTANBUL MECİDİYEKÖY FK got a freekick which was hit by Hilmi Tanören. İlhami Akar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şadi Serafet, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Askale fully deserved thier win.
