UKBE SK's Hamdullah Oğuzbala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Betim in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Batıhan Kalagay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fatih Tamer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UKBE SK the free kick. Batıhan Kalagay hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ferit Özguc in the 7th minute of play forced Fatih Tamer's goalkeeper Ferid Turay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Zeynel Taze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fatih Tamer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UKBE SK the free kick. After 9 played minutes Fatih Tamer got a freekick which was hit by Zeynel Taze. Hamdullah Oğuzbala was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but İbrahim Betim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Tekin Oskan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdullah Oğuzbala having to interfere. If İbrahim Betim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hamdullah Oğuzbala was a little too slow when İbrahim Betim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Necip Göçmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th match minute, Fatih Tamer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abidin Nuralp to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Mehmet Ferit Özguc shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferid Turay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Recai Işık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tekin Oskan struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Hamdullah Oğuzbala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fatih Tamer. Hamdullah Oğuzbala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Betim in the 40th minute of the match. Tekin Oskan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdullah Oğuzbala having to interfere. Hamdullah Oğuzbala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tekin Oskan in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Recai Işık made a kick off. Hamdullah Oğuzbala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Betim, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Fatih Tamer booed when UKBE SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sezai Akkurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezai Akkurt's late challenge caught a Fatih Tamer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sezai Akkurt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Sezai Akkurt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamdullah Oğuzbala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Betim, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to UKBE SK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Mehmet Ferit Özguc hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tekin Oskan couldn't finish the play.
