Tansel Latif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaffar Tonguç having to interfere. Battal Seyyit Armağan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to KöprüBaşı getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Nuralp Köksan hit a great ball. Neşat Şamil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet İlhan Ağırtaş in the 13th minute of the match. If Ahmet İlhan Ağırtaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaffar Tonguç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alpertunga Reca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Gazisehir Gaziantep FK's goal looked a bit too open when Alpertunga Reca came free, but Gaffar Tonguç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Battal Seyyit Armağan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
