Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Malafa's Özer Taş started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Malafa's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bülent Ulusan came free, but Ahmet Sedat Alpsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Edremit's Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Sedat Alpsoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Sedat Alpsoy came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Edremit's Ahmet Bülent Ulusan. But to his dismay, Ahmet Bülent Ulusan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Suphi Oruk charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suphi Oruk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Suphi Oruk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Edremit's Baskın Taşan tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Edremit booed when Malafa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özer Taş didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Malafa's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bülent Ulusan came free, but Ahmet Sedat Alpsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kamber Tapgaç hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A collision led to Edremit getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Baskın Taşan hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Malafa's Hayyam Ayçetin tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Ahmet Bülent Ulusan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Alpsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Malafa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edremit were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Bülent Ulusan to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Bülent Ulusan in the 57th minute of play forced Malafa's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Alpsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Sedat Alpsoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu in the 59th minute. The supporters of Edremit booed when Malafa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayyam Ayçetin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 83rd playminute. 86 minutes into the match, Edremit's Ahmet Bülent Ulusan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Sedat Alpsoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulu İhya during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Malafa getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ulu İhya hit a great ball. When Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Edremit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu couldn't finish the play. Edremit's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
