After a defensive mix-up in Camardi's zone, Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yalçın Yumlu came out of the goal and Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Edremit's goal looked a bit too open when Bayhan Tüzmen came free, but Yasin Kirtekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Camardi got a freekick which was hit by Nazmi Sahir. Yalçın Yumlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Bülent Ulusan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Edremit failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
