Kurucesme's Burak Özyurt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Kurucesme from getting a goal against them. Öztürk Bicanoğlu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Burak Özyurt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş. After 26 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Arif Memduh Birsen. Burak Özyurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Öztürk Bicanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Beşiktaş's Öztürk Bicanoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Burak Özyurt. That made the score 2-1 after 38 minutes of play. Öztürk Bicanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Öztürk Bicanoğlu made a kick off. After 84 minutes of play, Beşiktaş's Arif Memduh Birsen made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Burak Özyurt was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Öztürk Bicanoğlu sped through Kurucesme's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Burak Özyurt. After a defensive mix-up in Kurucesme's zone, Arif Memduh Birsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burak Özyurt came out of the goal and Arif Memduh Birsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Öztürk Bicanoğlu notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Kurucesme's Burak Özyurt. Burak Özyurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arif Memduh Birsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Beşiktaş were the better team. Beşiktaş's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
