Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 100) Bahadır Kambay started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Feyyaz Gökkır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ahmet Rıfat Öz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lions's Nuralp Timur got a free kick in the 10th minute. Köse's Bahadır Kambay got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kandemir Şükrü kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Feyyaz Gökkır recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute of the match, Feyyaz Gökkır got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ahmet Rıfat Öz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Yavuzalp Zabit who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Rıfat Öz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Rıfat Öz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feyyaz Gökkır in the 26th minute. Hayri Orkut kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahadır Kambay in the 35th minute of play forced Lions's goalkeeper Ahmet Rıfat Öz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lions booed when Köse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahadır Kambay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bahadır Kambay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahadır Kambay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feyyaz Gökkır's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Rıfat Öz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ahmet Rıfat Öz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahadır Kambay, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ahmet Rıfat Öz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feyyaz Gökkır's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feyyaz Gökkır in the 64th minute of play forced Lions's goalkeeper Ahmet Rıfat Öz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Feyyaz Gökkır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Feyyaz Gökkır who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lions's Ahmet Rıfat Öz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Macit Ermiye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Köse made a substitution. Serdar Mutlutekin replaced Mehmet Bedri Akbaşak. In the 76th minute, Macit Ermiye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feyyaz Gökkır's late challenge caught a Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feyyaz Gökkır helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Köse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feyyaz Gökkır to maneuver through the defense. Bahadır Kambay took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Rıfat Öz. Ahmet Rıfat Öz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 87 minutes into the game, Dursun Ali Tanbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köse the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Lions:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Köse:s goal. Bahadır Kambay shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 93 minutes into the match, Bahadır Kambay notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Lions's Ahmet Rıfat Öz. Ahmet Rıfat Öz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th minute Feyyaz Gökkır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Rıfat Öz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahadır Kambay succeeded in the game's 99th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. After 102 minutes of play, Köse's Feyyaz Gökkır made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Rıfat Öz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Köse players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
