Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fikirtepe FK's Hıncal Tokgöz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Gattuzo's Yıldırım Veziroğlu got control of the ball when Reis Rasif tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tugay Çimen in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teoman İzgü saved Fikirtepe FK from getting behind. After 7 played minutes Gattuzo got a freekick which was hit by Bican Tuğalp. Vahap Yerel hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Gökalp Akbayrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gattuzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökalp Akbayrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teoman İzgü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Hıncal Tokgöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldırım Veziroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teoman İzgü came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Gattuzo's Gökalp Akbayrak. But to his dismay, Gökalp Akbayrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Fikirtepe FK's Vahap Yerel got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Fikirtepe FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tugay Çimen came free, but Teoman İzgü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Hıncal Tokgöz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yıldırım Veziroğlu, 1-1. Bican Tuğalp hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Yıldırım Veziroğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reis Rasif went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gattuzo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Reis Rasif scored to the left of an out of position Yıldırım Veziroğlu, making the score, 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gökalp Akbayrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fikirtepe FK's zone, Gökalp Akbayrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teoman İzgü came out of the goal and Gökalp Akbayrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tugay Çimen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teoman İzgü having to interfere. When Gökalp Akbayrak came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Gattuzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökalp Akbayrak couldn't finish the play. Teoman İzgü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökalp Akbayrak in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Vahap Yerel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldırım Veziroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vahap Yerel scored 4-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yıldırım Veziroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gattuzo's Gökalp Akbayrak got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Gattuzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakut Üner to maneuver through the defense. Gattuzo's Yıldırım Veziroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reis Rasif in the 72nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Tugay Çimen put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Teoman İzgü. Teoman İzgü made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tugay Çimen in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gökalp Akbayrak during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gattuzo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gökalp Akbayrak hit a great ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fikirtepe FK's goalkeeper Teoman İzgü, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96thth minute of the game Gökalp Akbayrak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fikirtepe FK's Teoman İzgü was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gattuzo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fikirtepe FK.
